Rattan Centrepiece

730,00 €

Handmade by Dima Stephan – Rattan Hun
Contemporary craft · Handwoven rattan · Unique piece

With Rattan Hun, designer and artisan Dima Stephan reimagines a material long rooted in Lebanese homes — rattan, or khayzaran in Arabic — through a bold, sculptural lens. Trained in interior architecture and one of Lebanon’s youngest female rattan artisans, Dima draws on traditional techniques to create striking, contemporary forms that defy the material’s conventional boundaries.

This large centerpiece is a statement of quiet strength and intricate craftsmanship. Woven entirely by hand, its form balances organic flow with structural clarity, making it ideal as a table sculpture, a fruit or aperitif vessel, or even a standalone decorative object. Each curve is shaped with patience and precision, reflecting Dima’s dedication to the art of handwoven design.

Details

  • Material: Natural rattan (Khayzaran)

  • Color: Natural, untreated (light honey tone)
