Fabriq
Fabriq — meaning "create" in Arabic — is a textile pattern design studio rooted in curiosity and craftsmanship.
Founded in 2017 by Stephanie Nehme, the studio is inspired by the abundance of Lebanon’s land, its rich culinary heritage and the timeless bond between food and people. Through that, Nehme brings vibrant heartfelt stories to life with her designs which are created through slow handmade techniques, mainly block printing plus natural dying experiments.
A storyteller at heart, Nehme’s intention is to shift the narrative of scarcity to one that celebrates the generosity of a fertile homeland and its open-hearted people. In recognizing the quiet abundance of our land, the work acts as a reminder that life, even in a region shaped by challenge and change, continues to offer its gifts — grounding us in a deeper sense of belonging and rootedness.
The latest collection, Sofra — meaning "feast" or "spread" in Arabic — continues this tribute, celebrating the ties that bind us: land, food, and the spirit of giving. Sofra captures scenes of beloved Lebanese culinary traditions, from mezze to mouneh (the art of food preservation), brought to life by joyful passionate hands. Each design is hand-carved and block-printed by Nehme herself using water-based inks on 100% premium Belgian linen sourced from deadstock, honoring a commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.
