Part of CAPSULE 01: HAWA, this carafe is a tribute to Lebanon’s disappearing glassblowing tradition. Each piece is individually hand-blown by the last two master artisans still practicing this age-old craft in Lebanon. HAWA — meaning air in Arabic — captures both the material's lightness and the urgent need to breathe new life into endangered métiers d’art.
Beirut- and Milan-based designer Ghady Azar founded CAPSULE as a platform for conscious design rooted in cultural preservation. Through the HAWA collection, she addresses the pervasive issue of plastic overuse, offering an object that is both sustainable and poetic — elegant in form, purposeful in spirit.
Minimalist, lightweight, and resilient, this borosilicate glass carafe is designed for daily rituals — from water to infusions — honoring craftsmanship while inviting mindful use.

This is a delicate handmade piece, please handle with care. While Borosilicate glass can withstand high temperature we recommend handling it with care and avoiding sudden extreme temperature changes. It is dishwasher safe but we recommend to wash by hand, with a soft bristle brush/bottle brush and warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that could scratch the glass.
